“I am constantly reflecting, and my art practice has always been a vehicle for me to explore myself. In this series of work with my daughter, I finally turned the camera on myself in a vulnerable way. I am looking at myself as a new person, as a mother. The relationship I had with myself changed after I gave birth to Stella, and with that, the time I spend looking at myself is different, too. Making these images helps me see myself now, and see my daughter grow.”
