Competitions Work

See|Me hosts 4+ competitions every 12 months.

During these competitions, See|Me partners with some of the biggest and best-known art fairs in the world.

Below is an overview of how See|Me competitions work.

1. Launch

See|Me announces the opening of new competitions to the public through our website, social media, and newsletter.

*See|Me Annual Members receive a private announcement with submission instructions via email.

2. Submission Link

After purchasing entry into a competition, new contestants receive an email with a link to the submission form for the competition.

3. Submission Form

Contestants are encouraged to read through the instructions on the submission form thoroughly to ensure a successful submission. After a contestant has filled out the form to their satisfaction, they can submit the form by clicking the ‘SUBMIT’ button on the final page of the form.

 

4. Confirmation

After submitting the form, contestants receive an email confirming that their submission has been received. A PDF of their form response is attached to this email. At the bottom of this email is a link to go back and edit their response - all edits must be completed before the submission deadline has passed.

5. Deadline

Each See|Me competition has a submission deadline - a date and time by which all submissions must be completed. It is at the discretion of See|Me to change or alter this deadline. After the submission deadline has passed, no further submissions are accepted.

7. Awards and Prizes

Submissions win their place at exhibitions and are awarded prizes based on both their scores and the rules of the competition - these rules can be found in the competition’s landing page under OPEN CALLS in the drop-down menu of EXHIBITIONS in the main navigation of See|Me’s homepage.

8. Certificates

Contestants whose work is featured at an exhibition due to their performance in a competition receive a certificate of inclusion upon the completion of said exhibition. This certificate will be sent to the contestant by way of mail or email.

9. Refunds

All sales are final.
