Echoes of Resilience: Reflections on Survival and Renewal brings together the work of nine female, internationally recognized and emerging artists who interrogate and celebrate the concept of resilience across personal, cultural, environmental, and futuristic dimensions. This timely exhibition examines the enduring role of creativity when navigating upheaval and shaping a future grounded in strength, healing, and transformation.
The past decade has been marked by profound upheaval, uncertainty, and change. We have witnessed the strength of the human spirit and the resilience of communities. In the face of crises, whether social, environmental, technological, or personal, art has always been a source of solace, strength, and solidarity.
In Echoes of Resilience, each artist challenges us to explore what Resilience means today and to consider what it takes to survive and thrive in an age where uncertainty is the norm. How do we draw upon our inner strength, collective wisdom, and shared humanity to overcome adversity?
Grand Prize:
Ulyana Korol was born in Lviv, Ukraine and currently resides in Spain. Her evocative palette-knife oil paintings convey both depth of emotion and a calming presence. Her latest series delves into the symbolic nature of water as a mirror of resilience—fluid yet unbreakable, ever-changing yet timeless. Through the dynamic interplay of light, movement, and reflection, Korol captures water’s power to transform, distort, and heal. Using layered brushstrokes and shifting hues, the meditative essence of water is translated into a visual language such that each ripple and reflection becomes a metaphor for endurance and renewal, inspired by her own journey of perseverance.
