Denizen of the Chihuahuan Desert, Leonardo Olivas has been drawing since 1990. In 2002, the Artist discovered that Artwork may flow freely and nearly of its own accord, from a pencil or other instrument. Ideally, the mind is silent and simply bears witness. Intuitively and from the heart, the Artist senses the Artwork and attempts to find a harmonious balance. Over time and with practice this connection strengthens and becomes more clear.
