"Creating is no longer a life or death situation for me but it's my blood now--life inspires me. "

"I've always been a jack of all trades--and by jack of all trades I mean, I've always been really good at excelling at things that didn't really matter: folding boxes in a packaging warehouse, cleaning bathtubs, finding efficiencies in programs--but collecting things has always been my jam: memories, flowers, stones, stamps, people... I like to keep things; I'm a creative, but I'll be honest, I'm fresh out of the gate with putting my work out there."

"The work on the Squarespace website is my first attempt at saying something after a lifetime of saying virtually nothing aloud as a creative (I was too chicken to put myself out there, and now I don't care)."

"I love working with my hands so currently I'm collaging a series of portraits based on where I am both as a woman and a person of color. These portraits are how I express where I am on the way to myself."

"If I didn't make things I wouldn't be alive. Literally. I begin making things as a means to overcome myself during a dark period in college and I became determined to never be there again. Creating is no longer a life or death situation for me but it's my blood now--life inspires me. I couldn't imagine if making things were not an integral part of my life.I wait for things to bloom, research their significance and mask people with them."
