"Photography has been a passion of mine my whole life."

"I was born in 1983 in a small town close to Rome. I hold a degree in Women's Studies and a masters degree in Multimedia. When I was 25 I moved to San Francisco to pursue a career in digital media. Since then, I've worked as a Video Producer, Director and Photographer.
In 2013 my personal life was not so good and not having money to pay the expensive San Francisco bills, I decided to try my luck back in Italy and moved to Bologna, where I’ve been since."

"My first approach to photography and art came from my interest for fiction. This led me to an interest in cinema. I studied cinematography, but didn't follow the cinema path after that. I realised that I needed a more solitary way of creating. I discovered the possibilities of image manipulation with Photoshop in the last four years and started experimenting on my own.I use photography as a way to express my creativity and my feelings. While I try to have a more balance life, I have been incorporating photography and art more into my life. My relationship with photography changes everyday. I always want to learn as much as possible and try new things. Right now I'm working on myself, becoming a better person in my eyes, finding more truth in what I do. I'm hoping that this will effect my work in a certain way.

"My inspiration is just life. My life as a normal person. The world is the perfect source of inspiration for me. Sometimes an idea bumps me in the head, but mostly I find inspiration looking at the world through my eyes. It’s often something interesting, weird and extraordinary. My work is inspired by movies, music, books, ordinary people and conversations too.Obviously everything's come up with an idea. Sometimes I like recreate story, other times I want translate a feeling, an emotion. Then I can start with my pre-production process. One of the most important part for me as a photographer is finding the right talent /model. I don't look for just a beauty model, I look for a muse. I've been very lucky so far because all my models are so beautiful inside and out. Each of them gave me a beautiful story to tell. The production day is a mix of fun, magic, and hard work. I have a great team, we always had great time creating together. The post-production is also very important for me. Some ideas come up during the editing process, I have a lot of fun playing with the digital manipulation."
