Robert Lynn
“I have always had a desire to paint. As a young boy when I visited art museums-I always told myself one day I will be an Artist so this is why I create today. I'm a self taught Artist. I derive inspiration from the elements of the environment and from nature. My abstracts have Asian, Middle Eastern, and American Indian Influences. They blend primitive and pre-historic arts with environmental inspirations such as landscapes and sky colors. I like building layers in my paintings. For me, it is like telling a story. Individuality is important in choices of color, texture, and shape as I create on the canvas space. I draw on the past and my artistic influences to create each piece. I want my paintings to arouse an individual's mind and soul and to leave an everlasting impression.”
