"I also think it’s important for girls to work together and empower one another. As women, we have been taught to always compete with each other and compare ourselves on the basis of the way we look and act. Working with each other closely kills that way of thinking, empowers us and helps us create together in an environment that we feel safe in."

"I was raised in Fellabær in East Iceland, where I took the kaleidoscopic culture and harsh natural beauty that surrounded me and began turning it into photographs. I now resides in Vancouver, BC, Canada where I continue taking photographs, focusing on individuals outside of the traditional norms of fashion. Recently, I've begun branching out into directing short documentaries."

"My main source of inspiration comes from the people I’m surrounded by. It also depends on where I am, either if it is Vancouver where I live or Iceland where I come from. They are such wildly different places that have different sources of inspiration."

"My process revolves around the people I work with and what project I'm doing each and every time. I love collaborating with people and getting inspiration from the people I work with."
