“Portraying the faraway faces of people who were inaccessible to me, before the advent of globalisation and multiculturalism, has always inspired me. As a metaphorical homecoming, each image represents an unspoken journey. At the same time, I like to explore the boundaries of realism. The fashion industry served as inspiration which supported further progression and confrontation into new and exciting experiences that I've lived before. Between these two worlds I can switch from a world of total experimentation of the colour to a world where I can try bringing awareness to our future as a people.”
