SoHo was once a nexus of the avant-garde art scene in New York City. Despite the city’s attempts to keep it a strictly industrial space, artists took over SoHo for its natural light and cheap lofts, and it quickly became home to creative pioneers of the 1970’s. New York’s thriving community of creators owes its existence to the artistic haven SoHo once provided. We now welcome you to join us in taking back SoHo to reclaim it as the artist haven it once was.
You are invitedto submit your work and the story behind it for a chance to win $5,000, a feature in Tartarus Magazine, and a night of celebrationexhibiting your work in SoHo, NYC.
We look forward to seeing your best work. Get started by telling us a little about yourself. Our artist relations team will send you instructions to complete your submission.
