"My early enchantment with the natural world led to a sensitivity of the environment around me. A camera gave me a vehicle to illustrate this consciousness. The desire to create and share something of beauty has extended into my career as a photographer, developing a style rich in feeling and humanity."

"Seascapes and locations take on a painterly, poetic quality; lifestyle images are cinematic and emotive, and I would like to think my portraits are rich in feeling and connection. I create from an inner desire to share a place of love and beauty that is in us all, but often not given the time or space. We all long for beauty, for affinity and for connection."

"These shared experiences are what elevate our lives beyond mere existence. Good or bad, they are the muse for poetry, the rhythm of music, and the ‘heart’ in our heart. Ultimately all of my work is about exploring just that: our humanity seen through how we connect with something outside ourselves. That moment when we bare our souls and open our hearts, and celebrate our humanity at its best."

"My practice explores the landscape as visual poetry speaking to us in emotional terms. Images of the wild and the natural are familiar but at the same time evocative. Beyond pure recognition, we find in them a space to contemplate and be carried away. Abstracted forms trigger a feeling above a recognition of form or subject matter. Elements of light and dark, colour and form in the portrayal of water and sky are read in a personal way by each viewer. My lifestyle photography and portraits hopefully capture a spark of the beauty of a real connection."
